Historic Note - Week of April 9th

Red Lodge Picket, April 12, 1890

A letter received from Henry Howell, who is at Cooke City, states that there is now six feet of snow on a level in that camp, and in many places it is twelve feet deep. From present indications there will be no scarcity of water during the coming summer.
