Historic Note - Week of March 26th
The Livingston Enterprise, March 31, 1888
David Dobson has carried the Cooke City mail all winter without missing a service. He has snow-shoed over 2,000 miles. He has been snow-blind, lame in one leg, had his nose frozen, lost overshoes and gloves repeatedly; but in spite of all that he never fails to deliver the mail.
Envelope addressed to Jack Allen in Cooke Montana.
